Adorable Gift Baskets, LLC have shipped gift baskets and gifts via FedEx, UPS, DHL and USPS since 2000. We have seen almost every imaginable gift basket delivery outcome.
It is our goal to make your online gift shopping experience as satisfying as possible. In order to help us make your experience positive, we must alert you to the following potential gift basket shipping/delivery issues. Please take a moment to review the following before you place your gift basket order.
Weather Delays: If your gift basket is delayed, damaged or undelivered due to severe weather conditions, carriers will not honor any Guarantees, and therefore neither can we. Your gift basket travels by Airplane in most cases. If weather delays a flight, or closes an Airport, your gift basket will be delayed. FedEx, UPS, DHL and USPS have no control over the weather, nor does Adorable Gift Baskets.
Signature Release: We use the Signature Release Program to help you get your gift basket delivered. Residential deliveries do not require a signature and may be left in a safe place, out of sight and out of weather, at the driver's discretion. This could include the front porch, side door, back porch, or garage area. At that point our liability ends. If we have to wait until your recipient is at home to make a delivery, your gift basket may never get delivered.
Please be sure that somebody will be at home (some time during the day) at the delivery address you provide. If the recipient is out of town, unavailable, or if for some reason the recipient does not get the gift basket we can not be responsible. It is your responsibility to alert the recipient that a package will be arriving.
Incorrect shipping information: will most likely result in the gift basket NOT being delivered. Please put a valid DAYTIME telephone number for the recipient. We will not call the number for any reason, other than to facilitate gift basket delivery. Missing Suite # and Apt.# will result in disruption in delivery and an Address Correction Fee will be charged. The additional cost of any reshipped gift baskets due to incorrect address information is the sender's responsibility. (NOTE: Please double check all shipping information carefully, especially physical street address, apt or suite number, and zip code. Incorrect or incomplete shipping information may result in delayed delivery or the package NOT being delivered at all. The cost of any reshipped products due to incorrect address information is the sender’s responsibility. Be aware that you will incur additional charges if the address you enter must be changed in order to have your product delivered.)
Refused deliveries: If we ship a gift basket to the address you provide, and the gift basket is refused, or undeliverable for any reason, you will still be liable for the entire purchase plus shipping.
Shipping to a Business: If you are sending a gift basket to a business, hospital or hotel please be aware that our carriers will deliver the package to the front desk, or designated shipping and receiving department. Please let your recipient know to expect a gift basket. Adorable Gift Baskets assumes no responsibility if the business fails to deliver your gift basket to the recipient within the business, if the business is closed, if the hotel guest has checked out, if the hospital patient has been dismissed or the carrier is unable to deliver the package. For business addresses, please include as much information as possible including company name, telephone number, suite or room number, recipient's name and department.
